Christmas in The Park

A Holiday Tradition - Saint Marys, Georgia

 

 

 

A tradition in the 1970's in Saint Marys, we are happy to bring this fun, family oriented event back to our community. The event takes place the first Saturday of December each year at the St. Marys Waterfront Park.

This year’s event will be on:

 

Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

from Noon to approximately 9pm  

 

The completely free celebration will include games and activities for children, free food, hot chocolate and cookies, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, continuous live holiday music on the stage and a

Christmas movie at dusk.

 

 

Schedule of Events

 

Santa Claus is Coming to Town on the Toonerville Trolley at Noon. 

 

Santa will be in the park from Noon -5:30pm giving out Christmas stockings stuffed to the top with toys and goodies for the first 1,500 children.

 

And you won't want to miss:

- The Ginger Bread House serving up cookies and cocoa

Fun crafts for the kids to do

- Carnival style games

- Face painting

- Train ride for the tots

- Hayrides

- Entertainment, carolers

and choirs to enjoy

 

All activities are FREE!

 

The movie will start at 5:30pm.

And don't forget to bring your cozy blanket for the evenings grand finale. Families will snuggle up under the stars with hot cocoa and treats to watch our Christmas Movie on a large outdoor movie screen.

Up Early?

This year, the Kiwanis are hosting the Jingle Bell Jog to benefit Christmas in the Park.  Walk, run or just come for the delicious pancake breakfast!
